Hard edge paintings

I love the crispness and clarity of hard edge paintings, an artform where colours sit alongside each other with sharp or ‘hard’ edges. I particularly like how this approach can create such interesting colour combinations and sharp transitions. I enjoy the work of Ellsworth Kelly, Bridget Riley and Gene Davis. My hard edge paintings have been created on board or canvas using acrylic paint and masking tape.
